Purpose: The Committee tab displays the committee history for the individual, including positions served. All maintenance on Committees is performed in the Committees module. This tab is divided into two sections described below.

General membership on a committee is tracked separately from any specific positions held on the committee, because the two may not match. A person could be a member of a committee for ten years, but serve as Treasurer for only four of those years and as Chairperson for another two.
Committee Assignments and History
The Committee Assignments and History grid shows the individual’s committee service history. The same committee might appear more than once if the service term was not consecutive; i.e., if the person served on the committee from 1990 through 1993, and then again from 1997 through 2000.
Note: If there is a committee meeting in the system for a committee, when this person was a committee member, a child row will be shown for the meeting under the related committee.

The Committee Position Assignment and History grid shows the individual’s committee position service history. The same position might appear more than once if the service term was not consecutive; i.e., if the person served with a position from 1990 through 1993, and then again from 1997 through 2000.
