General Ledger Account Maintenance

In AM4, General Ledger Account Maintenance (Options > Utilities > Accounting Setup > General Ledger Account Maintenance) worked identically to other file maintenance modules. Open the file maintenance module and scroll through records one at a time.

Or, search for a specific account with its code or account description.

In AM.NET, the system displays all accounts in a grid. To search for a specific account, enter the account number in the filter row. Each character you enter narrows the grid to rows that match the first characters of the account number. This provides an easy way to view, sort, and find the record you need fast.

To edit the account, click Edit Selected GL Account below the grid or double-click the row. The general Ledger Account Maintenance screen appears.

To add a new account, click Add GL Account below the grid. General Ledger Account Maintenance opens with a blank record, prompting you to enter new data for the account.
