Key Data Output utility: your key to easy mailing and emails
AM4’s Print Envelope, Print Label or Cut and Paste Address utility is now the Key Data Output utility in AM.NET. This utility extracts key data about the current record and allows you to print the data, export it to a text file, copy it to a clipboard, and perform several other functions.

For example, let’s look at the Key Data Output utility for a selected Names File Maintenance record.

Select any record in Names File Maintenance and click Key Data Output on the main toolbar. The Key Data Output window appears.

The name and address appears in a textbox on the right side of the screen. Output options appear on the left.

If you need to add or edit the address, simply type the changes in the textbox. AM.NET does not save the changes to the record, but the changes will persist in the output data. So, if you type a suite number into an address, for instance, the changes will not save to the record, but will appear on the label when you click Print Label.

In AM4, this function only allowed you to email registrants for a selected event. AM.NET, however, also allows you to view and edit key information about the event.

Click Send Email to open an Outlook email document addressed to all registrants for the event.
