Grid
filter: weed out the data you don't want to see
AM.NET
now allows you to filter the contents of a grid when viewing report data. To
view a report view data grid, run any report in AM.NET, and then click View
Data.

A grid displaying data for the report appears. To filter the data, click Click here to enter filter criteria.

Now click Choose Field and select from the list of available fields in the grid.

Finally, enter a value the field must match. AM.NET filters the data and displays only records that meet the specified criteria.

You can even compare the values in one field to the values of another. For example, you can display only one-day events for an event report by clicking Show Fields to Compare (the small button next to the value) and then selecting the enddate field. The grid only displays records where the begin date matches the end date.

But what if you want to display only one-day events in a specific city? Simply click add criteria (the funnel with a small green plus sign), leave the default comparison operator (“and”), and apply a second filter with the faccity field.

And don’t
forget all the other things AM.NET’s
grids can do.
