Merge two or more firms
The Merge Two or More Firms routine is now available in AM.NET. Though they do the same thing, AM.NET allows you to do several things with this routine that AM4 does not.
To see this routine in action, let’s perform a merge.
First, enter a search.

After you enter the search term, click Add. AM.NET adds the term to the Search Terms list box and populates the grid with all firms that match the search terms in the list box.

Now, select the firm you want to delete and the firm you want to merge into. AM.NET will move all information from the deleted firm to the firm you retain. But if the information already exists in the firm you keep, AM.NET discards the information from the deleted firm.

When AM.NET completes the merge, you no longer have two or more firms with redundant information. You have one valid firm. Your data is clean.
