Dues Renewal Dashboard

Release 28 contains an entirely new feature in AM.NET: dashboards. The Dues Renewal dashboard is a tool for analyzing and reporting dues renewal results. You can launch the dues renewal dashboard from a new button in the Dues module.

The Dashboard opens with a default layout that shows historical renewal results by chapter.

You can drag fields around the dashboard to analyze results based on various other items, including member type, billing class, member age, and member position. We recommend that you review the detailed help documentation for the dashboard accessed by clicking the ? button on the upper right section form.

Keep in mind that we consider the Dues Renewal Dashboard a beta program. We are still tweaking the user interface and correcting errors. If you have any questions, complaints or comments, please send feedback to Phil or Larry.

Drill down of event job cost expense and revenue details

You can now view revenue and expense details from the job cost tab in Events File Maintenance. Just click the node for each row to expand the child rows and view the details.

UDF tab for Events File Maintenance

User-defined fields are now available for Events File Maintenance. You can add any custom event field your society needs. Societies that previously had fields on a Custom tab will find these fields on the new UDF tab.

Help

Help is now available in AM.NET . Select Help > AM.NET and AM.NET redirects you to the AM.NET Help Web site where you will find detailed help on many AM.NET modules, routines, and reports. Also, remember to check Help > What's New? for a list of new features by release.

Save the grids!

AM.NET now saves grid column order and sorting for each user for the Names, Event, and Committee views. If you change the column order or sort by a specific column, AM.NET automatically saves this information when you close the grid. The next time you open the view, AM.NET remembers the column order and sort and opens the grid with the last column order and sort you applied.

This applies to each user separately. So, you can have Views look the way you want without worrying about changing the format for other users.

Custom is the new standard

Several reports that were custom for a specific society in AM4 are now standard in AM.NET.

  • Course Sale Leader Confirmation in Events > Course Sale > Leader Confirmation.
  • Course Sale Customer Confirmation in Events > Course Sale > Customer Confirmation.
  • Events with Registrants for a Specified Firm in Events > Summary/Statistical > Events with Registrants for a Specified Firm.
  • Receivables – Aged Recap in Events > Financial > Receivables – Aged Recap.

Release 28 also includes a brand new report: Emails Sent (export) in Names > Export > Emails Sent. It exports the following fields for any emails sent through AM.NET:

  • Mailto. The email address of the person receiving the email.
  • Mailfrom. Whom the email is from. (This is usually a configuration option in the report settings.)
  • Subject. The subject line of the email.
  • Id. The ID number of the person receiving the email.
  • Indexname. The indexname of the person receiving the email.

Specialty Searches in AM.NET

Occasionally, you don't have a person's ID number. You may not even have their name. Maybe you have a garbled phone message with a phone number or perhaps part of an email address. AM.NET's specialty searches allow you to search for people or firms with any of the following search values:

  • Email address (all or part)
  • Phone number
  • Fax number
  • Credit card number
  • Check number (paid to society)
  • Check number (accounts payable)
  • Product order number
  • Product invoice number
To access these searches select any of the 6 specialty search menu items from the main File menu.
